One and done. Was recommended by one of our concierge's, but we weren't impressed. Booked an early dinner to celebrate a birthday. Bread service must start after 6:00 pm as we weren't offered any, yet the guests arriving after us were. Fried calimari was like very chewy and dry, sea bass (supposed to be crusted but lacked seasoning) was room temperature above the hot risotto below, so obviously plated later, lamb chops were good. Didn't refill water glasses, didn't bring the after dinner liquor requested. Did bring a complimentary slice of cake for the birthday. For the price, there are many better options. We tipped accordingly.
NOT recommended. Try one of the higher rated places in the area instead.
SERVICE: Good
No complaints (*). For a mid-level restaurant would have been 5-stars. At these prices, I expect a server to know the menu in detail and execution to be very polished. That was not the case. Our server did however have a great personality and worked to ensure we had a good experience which we appreciated. The asterisk is for suspect issues with the bill: tuna tartare rung up as the $33 deconstructed Wagyu steak tartare sub tuna (almost $10 more than the menu price as I remember), asparagus rung at $19 - $2 more than on the menu. It felt like these issues were stemming from the restaurant not our server. She offered to address but it simply wasn't about the money to me.
ATMOSPHERE: had a slight charm in its own way but is not modern, sophisticated, nor upscale classic.
The interior is a bit worn and the bathroom actually pretty nasty, water and wet paper all over, with a decor akin to what you might expect for a public restroom not a high-end restaurant. Fellow customers were not dressed up and it is definitely not a scene.
DRINKS: set the stage for how this place is such a poser and pretender.
The $20 espresso martini one of the worst I've had. The $22 24K Golddigger horrible. Maybe the bartender was out sick? These drinks were not made with any skill.
FOOD: sub-par, even for places at half the price point.
12oz bone-in-filet: respectably seasoned but over-cooked and the cut was terrible...at $139 a joke! The bone was on the small side and I'd guess the actual steak size to be ~11oz with 7-8oz of meat, very thin, too thin to prepare well with a crazy amount of tough fat leaving it devoid of that filet coveted tender signature. A bone-in can be fattier than a center-cut but this was excessive. I ordered hoping for a filet bigger than the 8oz -the only other option- which I had already suspected would be too thin to be cooked to that perfect crust while leaving a tender cool red center. If you do go here order a different cut or if you really want a filet, get the regular center-cut; save your money.
Asparagus: the best item ordered and didn't disappoint; other than the kitchen messed up the request to hold all oil and butter. Note to restaurant: when you mess up, offer to leave the mess-up for all the trouble and wait vs just throwing it way. Only one person at the table actually needed it to be oil-free. The rest of us would have preferred it as is so this was an opportunity wasted.
Mashed potatoes: tasted how you'd imagine caulk to taste. Awful. I wonder if the kitchen mixed up the no-butter request put in for the Asparagus.
Salmon: over-cooked and dry but my brother thought it tasted really good anyway and ironically loved the special mashed potatoes that it came with which had pancetta and other special ingredients that the mashed potatoes side did not.
Tuna Tartare: high-quality very fresh tuna but really missed on the composition lacking in flavor and dimension. Would have greatly benefited from sesame seed oil, a few actual sesame seeds sprinkled on top, and perhaps a touch of lime, soy sauce, and ginger or a number of other possible options to spruce it up.
MISSED RED FLAG: Greystone overly touts how they were rated the #1 steakhouse. When a restaurant deserves such a distinction, the distinction speaks for itself. If displayed at all, it’s usually done with class not as a blatant way to lure tourists. Not sure when this was but if you check numerous review outlets -while not horribly rated- Greystone is actually rated near the bottom of the steakhouses in the area and was unfortunately in my experience the absolute worst steakhouse "meal" I can recall in any of the six of the seven continents I've had steak in, even at half the price. That may sound tongue-in-cheek but it is not. Nearby chains Ruth Chris and Eddie V's will completely crush this place. Even STK Steakhouse likely will be levels better, not only better but likely even less expensive too.

Phenomenal, great happy hour, steak was good, wine was good quality, service was impeccable
Daniel was amazing!!! Also the food was 10/10.
Dan brings the best steaks!!!
My husband and I were very disappointed tonight. We originally were excited to dine here for an early Valentine's day. Unfortunately, the food quality was incredibly disappointing. I ordered fillet mignon cooked medium. I received a well done dry fillet instead. My husband's steak was just "alright".The side of mashed potatoes lacked flavor. The only decent thing on my plate was truffle butter. For the price, I would recommend choosing a different steak house. The quality of food has certainly gone down over the years here. We will not be returning.
Where to begin... we made a reservation that they couldn't find, but happily said they could accommodate our group of 5. They squeezed us into a 4 top, adding a chair. We had a few large men, it was tight. We moved the light from the middle of our table and the server brought another one. Lol.
The appetizers, crispy calamari, were overcooked and dry. They didn't bother to put any seasoning on them either. One person had the "22oz Bone-in Ribeye" I promise you, it was 10-12oz at most. We were all shocked and confused when it came out.
Another person had to 6oz Filet with a Lobster Tail. The filet looked like something from a kids meal, it was tiny. I had the Chilean Sea Bass with Risotto and Asparagus. The fish was a little fishy and the Risotto was so overcooked that it resembled dry, sticky, flavorless rice. Tge Asparagus were so small, also overcooked and bland, they only had dreams of becoming Pencil Asparagus when they grew up. I told the server how bad the Asparagus and Risotto were and she offered to bring another side. I asked for the Truffle Macaroni and Cheese. Whatever you do, never order this! The pasta was so small, Kraft Mac & Cheese with a Truffle sauce would have been better. The only redeeming quality was that it wasn't overcooked. The other two people split a salad and a $50 Gnocchi. The Gnocchi was pretty decent.
Throughout the night, the runners kept coming to our table with other people's food. It happened at least 4 times. Also, when I looked at the receipt today, I realized that the server charged for the pitiful mac & cheese that was a replacement for the horrible Risotto and Asparagus!
The icing on the cake was on the way out, a mouse ran across the floor as we were leaving.
Under no circumstances would I recommend this place.
I think it used to be very good, but has gone downhill...way downhill.
